In the spring of 2020, I found my way into plants - what began as a simple curiosity quickly grew into something much deeper. A small collection turned into a lasting love for rare tropicals, especially Alocasias, and for the patience required to truly cultivate them well.

As my collection expanded, I was introduced to tissue cultures. At the time, many rare plants were simply beyond my reach and tissue cultures offered a more accessible way to learn, experiment and understand plant development at its earliest stages. What began as a necessity soon became a passion, not just for collecting plants but for cultivating them from lab to leaf.

That journey naturally led me to begin importing and sharing tissue culture-grown plants, carefully selected from reputable overseas suppliers. From the beginning, my goal has always been simple - to cultivate rare plants responsibly and make them more approachable without compromising quality, care, or long-term stability.

Today, Rhizome & Reason Plant Studio LTD. reflects that journey. Rooted in patience, continual learning and the belief that rare plants should be nurtured with intention and enjoyed by more people.
